Honda Freed owner from the UK

Hi, I bought a Honda Freed a few months ago, and am loving it. Any other Freed owners in the UK?

Thanks. I believe it is only sold in the far east (Japan, Malaysia etc), and I bought it from an importer in the UK. It is a great MPV, perfect for my sons pram that just goes into the back without having to collapse it down. And sliding doors are a genius idea!

Yes - bought a 2011 Freed in August 2022. I love it! Incredibly versatile and can fit loads in it. I removed one of the second row seats and can now fit three full size bikes in without even removing front wheels.

how you getting on with your honda freed. How's reliability gearbox etc. All good? Any issues? Still enjoying it? What mpg you getting? Love to hear back. Cheers Phil

Yep, still loving the Freed! Took it to a mechanic friend last week for some new tyres and he gave it a full service at the same time. It's done 91,000km. He said it was in first class condition. Brakes, engine, gearbox etc. all good. RE MPG I get 40-43mpg which is not stellar I guess, but it's not the most aerodynamic vehicle.

Hi all

Looking at the Honda Freed to in the UK. Does anyone know for sure does this share the same equivalent parts as the Jazz/Fit?

lobotomous Dec 9, 2024 08:08 AM

My experience has been that all parts (except bodywork obvs.) are available/interchangeable with Jazz. That being said I haven't had to replace any major components bc it's so reliable!
