Well I'm new to the forum but not to Honda motorcycles. I've owned an old Nighthawk 750,an ST1100, A Shadow 750, a Valkery (did i spell that right?;-) and now a 2002 VTX1800R. I considered going to Harley for a short time ... then common sense took over! ;-) My VTX has a more aggressive FI chip, aftermarket pipes and air cleaner. Also bags and windshield. My only complaint is the gas millage isn't great ... only 34 per gal. and i don't like the tank seam.BUT the bike has power to spare! So that's my story ... I'm glad to have found this forum.
