Default Question from a new member

We just recently got a 2025 CRV Sport L. I know there is no spare tire, but is there a space under the cargo floor that would hold a spare tire? I can't lift it up, so I'm not sure if it is even possible. I hope I posted this in the right place.

There is limited space under the cargo deck however that space is needed for battery heat dissipation. If you manage to lift the deck out (not difficult) you will see all the duct work that draws in air from under your rear seat and channels it back to the battery pack.

If you decide that you need a spare, there is a “kit” available that includes a lug wrench and scissor jack that will work with all of your traction, braking and TPMS systems and a fits in a bag that has tie down straps. However, as low profile as it is, it still goes on the deck.

I thought about that but opted for a screw plug kit to supplement the pump & slime. No matter what you decide, all your options are temporary repairs. You still need to head directly to a tire shop to fix it correctly.

As far as posting goes, there is a CRV section.

Merry X-Mas and Happy Motoring
