Greetings! Just bought a used gold 2008 Accord LX. It is a4 Dr., 5 spd.
I used to own a 99 BMW 325IS which had 196,560 miles. It had a blowout in the radiator and overheated, leaving me with a blown head gasket. That was a great car but it was an automatic. I was getting that new car itch when that happened. I guess my mind got made up. I previously owned a Nissan 280ZX, an 86 corolla, an 89 300ZX, and a 95 BMW 325IS all 5spd. Glad to be back in a 5 spd.
I like the accord but notice that the A/C seems to sap a lot of power when it is engaged. It sure eats up some gas when I use it. Any tips on getting better fuel economy?

 

yeah don't use the AC ???

 

welcome to the forum. make sure you have a good tuned up engine. proper tire inflation, and if its not to hot do as lowlife9 suggests. don't use the ac.
