Tighten Fuel Cap Message

What would was a tighten fuel cap message to appear on my display? I have loosen and tightened the cap several times. The message disappeared after a day and half.

loose fuel cap, leaking seal, pressure loss in the fuel system. computer glitch

I agree,If you dropped the cap it may have a crack or the rubber seal may be lost or damaged,this is a pressurized system,if it happens again you may need another cap.
