Trying to help a friend.
Hey there folks. If anyone here can help me help a friend, it would be appreciated.
My understanding from personal experience (80's) is Honda's are pretty damn reliable and their motors/tranny's last a good long time.
A friend needs a car for under 3K and lives in the Knoxville, TN area so I ask for some help determining a few things.
1. Reliable dealers/websites in that area. Say 100 miles radius.
2. Which Honda is most reliable in the years around 1990?
3. Should I also look at Toyota and Subaru?
Thanks in advance.

welcome to the forum. 90-93 are good accords, if you can find a 93, many have dual airbags for safety. milage of 200k is common, reliable car, value wise is higher. toyota and subaru's also are good, lot less in costs, but maintenance is higher and less in demand vs honda
