Question What is up HF? New here.

Hello HF. I am going to be posting some unusual questions I think. It seems that while everyone wants to 'street' out their Hondas, I am trying to go the opposite direction. I want to lift my Honda civic and I need some real advice. So nobody freak out ok.

Ok. So here goes. I need to raise my 1994 civic hatch. I know how to change out the shocks but I do not want to just replace them, and I certainly do not want to lower the car. How do I figure out the right shock/coil setup?? Help!!

D Clark

welcome to the forum. When we decided to work on the suspension on our accord, my son called the maker of the shock/coil and told them what we wanted to do, he then was advised what set up was needed. He did call several makers to get the best price for the product. he also called a few race shops for advice.

Welcome in,though this may be a bit unusual it's not unheard of ,I have seen lifted imports converted to 4 wheel drive so you might also check the Jeep-Truck lift shops for advice.good luck.
