Hello,

I'm new to the forum and just bought a 2016 Odyssey yesterday. It's for the wife so I let her listen to the sales guy's overview of the cluster controls and features. Now that I'm going thru the manual to familiarize myself, I see some kind of grille/component on the top of the dash facing the windshield that I can't seem to find a reference to in the manual. I took a picture of it standing in front of the vehicle looking directly into the windshield at the dashboard top.

Does anyone know what this is?

Aloha, welcome to the forum. according to hondaautomotiveparts.com it is the center speaker lid assy.

 

Thanks. I thought it might be looking at the grille, but can't figure out what the buttons inside the recessed square are for.

 

one is a fastner, don't know what the other is.
