Smile Don't run over Boat Anchors, Help!

Ran over a boat anchor with my 10 Odyssey gashed my control arm, looking for a replacement. Does it matter Cast Iron vs Aluminum? Does it need to be honda parts or are there other places I can get it and will they be an ok quality? Any experiences and tips with replacing the front lower control arm?

welcom to the forum. have you checked on Carid or hondaforum sponsor. also NAPA, honda on line sites have great discounted prices. you can also call most wheel alighnment places to ask who they use. Most go genuine

Did you do a proper inspection of the suspension?
You want to make sure there is nothing else that needs to be done.
Do it once and be done??

If you do not live in the rust belt then the procedure is fairly simple
You will need to get a wheel alignment done after replacement of the lower control arm

It is always best to use genuine Honda parts
It may be more expensive but you know it will be the right part
And not something that is close to the specs for your Odyssey
