Hello. I opted into the extended warranty offered directly through the Honda dealer when I bought my new 2019 Odyssey (I assume its the official Honda extended warranty as I can goto any Honda dealer). The radio was malfunctioning early on and they wanted me to pay them to even investigate why it was malfunctioning. More recently one of the window motors is malfunctioning causing it to be jerky. They again want to charge me to investigate why the window isn't functioning properly. Does the extended warranty not cover the cost of "investigation" of the problem? Please advise. Thank you.

 

Depends on the coverage. What does your policy say? Should be clear enough to understand.

 

welcome to the forum. The Honda warranties I purchased as an add on to my new Hondas covered drive train, exhaust system, and computers. normal wear and tear i would pay for. auto windows, shocks, radio,oil and filter, fuel system. as grcauto states, read the warranty.
