I accidentally installed an 09 alternator in my 06 Odyssey EX-L. Everything fits perfectly except the pigtail connector. The casing on the 09 alternator is too small for the 06 connector to attach to it. Is it possible to trade out the 06 connector for an 09 connector and have full function? Or will I need to replace the 09 alternator with a new 06 one? Not looking forward to going back to square one, but I don't want to go through the hassle of tracking down and installing an 09 pigtail if the 06 system is going to reject the 09 alternator anyway. welcome to the forum. the 2005-2010 ody should all be interchangeable, you might want to exchange the alternator for the same style and not try to modify the 09 alt,
