Asking a question for my dad who is working on his 2008 Honda Odyssey. He is doing an engine replacement and wants to know what this is and if there is a certain way to install it.

He also painted it orange for some reason lol, but he said it is a rubber block under a metal bracket.




What is it and is there a specific way to install it? Thanks in advance.

welcome to the forum. rubber assembly front engine mount. if you go to cheaperhondaparts.com it will be easy to navigate to find all the parts.. do not know about installation, may show in the parts list.
