Windshild wipers wont shut off
 

Couple of days ago my windshild wipers just came on by themselfs, and now when i start the car they will come on by themselfs for a little bit than shut off and sometimes they just will stay on for a long time. I think its something with the ac beacause also when i turn my ac on they will come on and when i will turn ac off the will go off. Any ideas?

welcome to the forum. possible wire short on each other. may also be a switch going bad.

Rich it sounds like the "pulse board" went out. It is the circuit board that controls the wipers. Its pretty common problem with gm vehicles. You should be able to pick one up for under thirty bucks at any parts store. Its easy to change also, only about four screws and a plug to remove.
