2016 F250 EGR Delete – Pros, Cons, and What to Expect?

Hey everyone,

I’m considering an EGR delete on my 2016 F250 (6.7 Powerstroke) and wanted to hear from others who’ve done it. I’ve read mixed opinions on performance gains, reliability improvements, and potential issues.

From what I gather, the 2016 F250 EGR delete can help reduce soot buildup and improve MPG, but some warn about CELs and emissions compliance problems. What’s been your real-world experience? Did you notice better throttle response or fuel economy?

Did you run into any issues with inspections or tuning?

I’m looking for honest feedback before moving forward.

I suppose if you ask about spark plugs for a Ford Escape in the CR-V section then it makes perfect sense to ask about F250 diesel mods in a Honda forum as well.

Try powerstroke.org. Your Q might not be so out of place there and more likely to get a cogent response.
