Default Considering a DPF Delete – Pros and Cons?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been researching ways to improve my diesel truck’s performance and came across the concept of a DPF delete. I understand it involves removing the diesel particulate filter to reduce backpressure and potentially increase horsepower and fuel efficiency.

However, I’m concerned about the legal implications, possible engine issues, and long-term effects on emissions. For those who have experience, how reliable is a DPF delete in practice? Are there maintenance or tuning considerations I should be aware of?

Any advice, personal experiences, or warnings would be greatly appreciated.
