Dealership - Ft. Walton Beach, Florida
 

I recently visited the Ft. Walton dealership to shop for a Ridgeline. I test drove the vehicle and liked it. So I went inside to discuss getting the color I wanted and price. As I waited for the color chart, a young sales manager came strutting to the table and threw down some papers. When I looked them over, I discovered that the base cost was different than what was on the window and other options were included which I was not interested in. When I began asking questions about the cost, the sales manager said that were his costs and he couldn't do better. He then stormed off leaving me with the salesman. The salesman was a little nicer but not much better with negotiating. When I couldn't get close to the price he wanted, he didn't counteroffer, he just walked off--not even giving me a business card. I will not be returning to that dealership. It's a shame since I purchased a previous vehicle from this same dealership when there were other personnel.

welcome to the forum you did it right, not happy with any offer yours or theirs, leave. they don't care for your business so they won't negotiate or try to please you. you might go on line and see who can give you the best price even if it is out of town, the local dealer will still service your car. if you view sticker price for the vehicle you want, drop the price easy 3k to start, lower if you can.
