Default Honda Financial Services

Has anyone else had problems with Honda Financial Services? My sister was sent out of the country on military orders and didn't want to pay for a car she couldn't use. So I took over payments in Sept 2011. We changed the auto pay to my account info AND did a one time payment since I knew it wouldn't update before the auto withdrawl. Everything seemed fine until 2 WEEKS later when they said they couldn't locate the account for the one time payment and reversed it on THE day that the late fees are assessed. Confused, I called them to find out what happened. I was then told that I had to pay late fees & a processing fee for them to take my payment over the phone. I paid them with the SAME account that they claimed they couldn't find. Payment went through just fine. I verified that all was well for the auto debit and was told it would start in October. Fast forward to the FOLLOWING month (Oct 2011) and still I am having issues with them. Their site shows that my payment has been made and all is well with my account. I check with my bank to verify that the transaction went through. My bank has no record of it. I have a feeling that they are trying to pull a fast one on me so they can, once again, make me pay late fees and processing fees or risk losing my car. They same thing happened to my sister when she first financed the car. Has this happened to anyone else? I can't think that we are the first people out there who have had issues with this company. Is this their standard mode of operation? Anyone else tired of being bent over by big businesses?

I have an account with Honda Financial since 2007 for my Fit, and have had no problems. I honda financial has a toll free nbr, you might call them and ask for a supervisor, and give them all the info you have and what has transpired. make sure you have all this documented and whom you talked to and time and date. tell them of the payments made and if they are crediting your account, and from what bank and that the bank shows payment being made etc. See if this may clear this up. also you might want to find your own financing at a bank or credit union with a better rate. Honda Financial does not have the best interest rates.
