Swap or Boost??
 

IYO, would it be better for me to swap an LS into my 97 del sol. Or to boost the d16y8 that's already in there? I have asked a lot of ppl and it seems that I am getting stuck bc it's about half and half. I am considering the cost of both methods. With the LS, originally I thought it was gonna cost me 1200 total to get it in my car, that's with the me getting the motor for $400. Someone else told me that it will be a lot less than that. On the other hand, one person says I can turbo the d-series for $700. And another person says it will be $1500. Honestly I don't mind if one costs more than the other, so long as it does what I want it to do. I want to feel a difference, but I also don't want my car to breakdown on the side of the road on the way to school or work. For this reason, if I were to boost, I am thinking about 8lbs, and thats it.


With all that said, which would you recommend?
