Default Wife wants a "new" car

She has been looking at the Ridgeline because she thinks she wants a truck, but she is also looking at a Pilot. She only likes the new body style of the Ridgeline, but they are so difficult to get..... so as an alternative she is considering a Pilot. Questions for Pilot owners:

1. What is the best model year in your opinion?

2. Features to look for or not?

3. We live on a dirt road in snow country where it snows a lot. Is the ground clearance adequate for mild off-roading?

4. We have 2 lab retriever dogs- is the back of adequate size to put them in?

5. Any considerations when looking for a Pilot?

thanks

rick
