Hi guys,

So my "new to me" 2009 Honda Pilot starting developing "Torque Converter Shudder" right after purchasing it 2 weeks ago. It appears that I've confirmed the TC as the issue as when I had a fluid drain and fill done, the issue improved significantly....however, there is still a small flutter in the transmission where the "rumble strip" feeling was previously. So...I'm encouraged that it is improving but am wondering if I should be overly concerned with this issue and am curious about what it might impact it might have on the life of my tranny. My current plan is to go back and have another drain and fill done in about a month and see if that improves it further. I also hope to see if the small local dealership where I bought the vehicle will extend my warranty another 3 months (giving me until August 2021) to work out any issues with my local transmission guy and hopefully get the issue covered. If any of you have experience with this phenomenon, please let me know and share your knowledge.
