Folks my wife has a 2018 Honda Pilot Touring and her battery light comes on from time to time and Autozone just told me its the alternator. Their price is $475. We purchased the Honda Care for 7 years and 100,000 miles, would this be covered under this Honda Care extended warranty? its rather hard to tell on the brochure they gave me if this is covered or not.
we just bought a new AGM battery 6 months ago so we dont thnk its that at all.

You would have to call the warranty company and ask them. We do not have the contract and do not know the terms.

 

well the warranty company will cover the alternator however now the local Honda dealership is telling me it’s the Autozone AGM battery we put in 6 months ago is the cause, they are telling me that the Autozone battery is not the same as what they put into the car so it doesn’t hold up as well, is there anything to this at all?

have AZ load test the battery. They may give you a new one.
