Auutomatic transmission Heating
 

I have a 2020 Pilot. I am towing a 3,700 pound trailer. My automatic transmission is heating up. I have the towing package which allows 5,000 lbs. Are other people having the same problem?

welcome to the forum. I have not seen any postings here on trans heating up, but being your vehicle is under warranty with the tow package, i would take it to the dealership to get it fixed and also find out why the overheat. Things i can think of from towing trailers before, there is no tow package, the transmission line may be clogged, the cooler may be clogged, the fluid may be burnt, the radiator if the fluid goes through it, ( some have radiator and added air cooler) running hotter than normal. But again your Pilot is under warranty, have the Dealership fix it correctly. If you document all your findings and show it to the dealership they may find the problem quicker. date time take a picture each time it heats up. level ground, hills, twist and turns. etc.
