Comm errors after battery change
I'm working on a friend's 2017 Pilot, 65K miles. They just had the battery changed at Walmart; yes, I'll scold them for that. The dash lights now go crazy, the climate control and radio won't turn on, the electronics won't turn off, and it drains the battery. When I got the car, I got a ton of codes in a bunch of modules. Cleared those, and when I test drove it, the following came back:
ABS(Anti-Lock Braking System) 2 problems exist 1.U0101-00 CAN Communication Failure With TCM 2.U0126-00 CAN Communication Failure With Absolute Steering Wheel Angle Sensor EPS(Electric Power Steering) 1 problems exist 1.U0416-68 VSA System Malfunction Gauge System 1 problems exist 1.U0127-00 Gauge Control Module Lost Communication With TPMS Control Unit BCM(Body Electrical System) 1 problems exist 1.U0127 Gauge Control Module Lost Communication With TPMS Control Unit (TPMS Message)Can anyone recommend particular fuses, etc. I should be looking at, or a good path of diagnosis? Thanks! |
Start at the battery and clean up the posts and grounds.
