Help with a wiring issue please
I’ve recently replaced my transmission and upon reassembly I have a wire that I’m unsure where it belongs. I marked everything I thought would be questionable but I guess I overlooked this one. I’ve had it apart long enough that I just can’t remember. It seems like it would’ve been connected to the battery but I’m assuming someone has repaired it at some point because it doesn’t look stock. Anyway.. it’s a red wire and a black wire. Both have small ring terminals crimped on. They run to a power relay bolted to some metal under the driver side head light and split off to a connector I found just hanging in the bumper. The hanging connector just has a white cap on it with a 20 amp fuse in it. I was just wondering if anyone had any idea about this and if it does just go straight to the battery.

Would have to speak to the previous owner to ask them.
Otherwise, it is just power and ground connection with a fuse. It could have powered up an amplifier, alarm, horn or fog lights??? Maybe the previous owner pulled out their equipment when they sold the car?? |
