How many kms/miles to a tank 2016-19 pilot
Just wondering how far can you go on a tank of gas? Coming from a Mercedes Benz r350 diesel, I currently get around 620 kms on a full tank. Just trying to see how the pilot compares. Thanks |
welcome to the forum. 2018 351-500 miles to a tank, city-hwy. Mercedes rides on a cloud, Pilot rides on rocks. seats 8. you might want to go test drive a few times, or rent it for a bit before you make a final decision. I am a Honda person, but I know how the Mercedes drives/rides. you might be a little disappointed. try it first. look up the pilot review in Edmunds, they are good at judging vehicles. also the 2019 pilots are having quite a few complaints, and computer goes wacky
as much as I love Honda, I would get the Odyssey before the Pilot. but again ride is no where close to a Mercedes. |
So I came from a 2005 odyssey, wife didn’t want a mini van anymore. I always liked the idea of a walk through 3rd row and when i was in the market for a replacement I came across the r350. I just unbolted the small 2nd row centre seat and now have easy access to the 3rd row. Yes it rides on a cushion, but it comes at a cost. This truck is a nightmare! From the phantom check engine lights to leaky air ride suspension, now it leaks oil! I’m not talking about a high mileage Mercedes, I only have 112,000 kms on this truck. It like everyone says about German cars, always lease and give them back! Out of warranty they are money pits, not to mention the $200 oil change. I welcome the harsher ride of the Honda! |
you're right about the money pit. good friend who owned a car lot always told me --- if you own and Mercedes, don't think of the cost of maintenance, if you do, don't get one. if you decide to get the pilot, be aware of some of the minor glitches it has on the 2019.
