new member intro & suspension refresh

Hi all. Had my 03Pilot since 06 - bought it in Anchorage as a Honda Certified and it has been great. Now in GA with 170K miles with one timing belt done at 100K. Daughter had the car in TN when the trans went out. local rebuild shop said 2 weeks and 50K warranty, Rockauto had lifetime warranty rebuild there the next day for same $$. Other than that, oil, filters, brakes & tires only!

I figure it is time to address the vague front suspension. I used to seek name brand parts like Moog but recent sourcing has led me to a more low bidder approach within reason. I figure if I am getting dirty lets do it all and some of the total suspension kits on eBay are enticing. I searched and saw a few positive comments based on experience and some negative ones that seemed to be more philosophical. Any recent experience good or bad?
Also recommendations on how far to do? I am definitely thinking all joints, arms and bushings. Struts too although springs seem OK. I will check drive shaft boots but no clicking noticed - if boots cracked I will replace shafts so any sourcing recommendations there gratefully accepted as well.

Probably do same for rear suspension too.

Yes full alignment afterward!

Will need exhaust soon too - recommendations?

Heck after all this I may get it painted!

Also trying out the Piloteers forum to see which is more active / good info

Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom.

welcome to the forum. you've got just about everything to be done covered. after all the work, the car should last for quite a while more.

From where? Which vendor?

Thanks!

my son got his clear through cat from ebay and muffler, make unknown. exhaust was changed to 2" pipe, yours should be 2 1/2. tone of accord was low and mellow. if you call around the muffler shops, they may tell you which type of exhaust system is best for the pilot.
