1998 Prelude Dash Lights and Tail Lights won't work

I recently purchased a 98 Prelude. It needed a Catalytic Converter, after a local shop replaced it I noticed that the Dash Lights and Tail Lights were out. Not sure if this had anything to do with it but he did unhook the battery. Maybe since we have just purchased the car, we did not notice that the lights were out?
The car has a Viper Alarm on it and I've noticed on-line that people do have light problems associated with the alarms. I also saw a few postings that said the tail lights and dash lights are wired together and if one has a problem you'll have issues with the other. I've checked the fuses throughout the car. Everything checks ok there. I'm not sure how this Viper is wired, so I'm inclined to leave that alone for now. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Welcome,
This problem is very easy to fix – You simply have to replace two fuses in the fuse box under the hood, both of which can be replaced with spare fuses already in your car (so no need to buy anything new.)
The 2 fuses are very poorly named, you would probably never even think to check them to correct the problem at hand. They arethe 15A FI ECU Fuse – No. 2 in the chart below, and the 10A back upFuse.
fuses in slots 21 to 25 are all spares – you will be able to find the 2 replacement fuses you need here (you will have to replace them with fuses of the same amperage, 15A for the FI ECU and 10A for the Back Up.Also check the fuse to the radio.
