i have a 1997 Honda prelude with a triptonic tranny. And when you accelerate it gets sloth like and jerks a little then will completely stall out. Not only that when you shift into gear it does nothing, just idles. But after a few mins you can hear it go into gear but runs like crap. Now say your in d4(drive) and try to go into park. It won’t always go. You have to play around with all the gears. I noticed the other day at night when I had the dash light on, that the only time it does not go into park is when the N (neutral) light is not illuminated. If it turns on it goes, if it doesn’t I have to play around with my gears. Help me please. Some say its my tranny. Others say vss, knock sensor (which it did through a code up for, but the check engine light no longer comes on), computer, torque converter, tranny linkage, and wiring harness.
