Why does my Prelude overheat & quiver while idling with the ac on? I have replaced the radiator and hoses. Engine flush executed. Both fans work. I have even tried water wetter. Thermostat is fine. Now I have a cold air intake as well. What gives with this car during the summer? The very time that I need the ac to work is when I am sitting still especially when traffic is backed up.

 

welcome to the forum. check the timing, change to lower temp thermostat , water pump weak or bad, has the system been bled.
