In May of 1990, a 70-year-old woman (now in her late 90's if still alive) named Betty Kiser became the first owner of this Prelude at the Scottsdale Honda that is now closed down. She owned it until 2013 when the vehicle started hopping around military bases here in Arizona. Both of those factors contributed to such a low mileage and being well maintained over the years. While it was being used around for the military, it got hit in the rear end in 2016. Because of the age and inaccessibility of a new rear bumper, the insurance company flagged it as a salvage. At that point, the vehicle got sold at an auction to a vintage repair shop in Tempe. They took the car and found a bumper to replace the old one with, and from there got sold to me. I immediately took it to the dealership for a top to bottom inspection to see what I was in for. Miraculously, they only found the fluids were a little dirty. Everything else checked off, so I obviously knew someone was taking good care of it over the years. It also had no water leaks which is rare to find in a car this old. Within that week, I had the transmission, steering, and brake fluids flushed. It also has new factory spec speakers, a better ignition switch, tire balance/rotate, spark plugs with new cables, cap/rotor, air filter, and wipers. However, I am not done yet. I also had the timing belt, drive belts, water pump, oil seals, and coolant replaced/flushed all within the last two months. All expensive maintenance has been done in the past couple months, so it is my loss in money and your gain in a reliable gem like this car. Everything is stock and not modified so it could be a modders dream car too.

All work has been done at the AutoNation Honda in Chandler Arizona

I have service history from when Betty owned the vehicle, and then a Carfax to display the rest of the service history.

Give me your best offer!

Sadly you have put in more money than you can recoup on a resale,if it were me I would keep it for a spare, those little cars are fun to drive and very reliable.good luck to you.
