1997 Honda Accord Project car For Sale for $600
I have an Accord that I wanna sell. If at all possible I’m trying to avoid parting it out. It’s a 1997 4 door with 209,000 and here is the info I have for you . . . When I bought the car in July of 2014 I started the car up and was unable to even make it out of the driveway before it died, so I had it towed. I drained the oil, and there was 10 quarts of oil in the engine. Yes ten. So I decided to break it down and rebuild which I did. When I put it all back together, I f****d the timing and I really don’t feel like taking it all apart again. In the process of fiddling and tinkering, I somehow managed to lose the one key I had for it. Honda said its $68 for a replacement. With that being said; this is what I have done or put into the car ::- New rings and seals
- Fuel pump
- Oil pump
- Water pump
- Thermostat
- Dist. Cap & Rotor
- Plugs & Wires
- Passenger window control arm
This is most definitely a project car for someone who has the Time money and space. Get the timing straight and the engine will be good to go. Most definitely needs a new radiator and tires. Rims are factory and in good shape. Interior as well need a make over. Front and back seats are great shape, but that’s about it. Feel free to contact me if needed.
