This is an '88 Honda prelude SI 4WS. That is four wheel steering. I am sking $1000 for it, as that is what I payed for it originally. It is in better shape now than it was when i purchased it, and I have personally invested another 1200 in it.. it runs but there are a number of minor problems with it. see this link for some great info on this car. http://www.carlustblog.com/2008/08/car-lust--1988.html This car is so much fun to drive it is addicting. For that reason I have kept it way beyond any reasonable time, as my family and lifestyle dictate I have a vehicle with more headroom, more cargo area, and more doors. maybe ill get a CRV, who knows. We recently drove this thing to LA on vacation and it performed wonderfully achieving an average gas mileage of 35 miles per gallon. really looking for someone who is going to give this car the treatment it deserves. fix it up and enjoy it for a long time to come. registration is due, but not behind. located in levermore, CA, USA. it can be driven to any state in the nation.

problems:
second owner had a lien on the car, which has been taken care of, but dmv wants a notarized release of lien, however the lien holder refuses to work with me as he has already payed for one such notarized release before. DMV will register it with a bond.
needs new brakes on the back. it stops but shouldn't be driven in its current condition for long.
has an aftermarket air filter bolted directly to the intake manifold. needs original replaced to smog.
some body damage, paint flaking. minor stuff that can be handled easily.
sunroof leaks, needs new seal.
right rear brake light isnt working properly because previous owner tried to wire it to a spoiler light and messed up. spoiler is not included.
trunk is red, the rest is yellow, and not pretty.

this car is offered as-is. you may test drive it, look at everything, and I will be available to help with the registration issue if necessary.
