2017 vs 2018?
 

In my area I can purchase a yet-to-built 2018 RTL-E for $38,500 + freight. Another dealer has a 2017 RTL-E with 2400 miles. The car was apparently used by Honda corporate and was built in August 2016. That dealer is still asking $38,000 for the 2017. Adding in the freight charge for the new car, the difference is $1,500.

I'd like to know your thoughts as to whether that discount would be enough for you to go for the 2017. If not, what is the price point at which the 2017 is too good a deal to pass up?

welcome to the forum. if i have my finance ready to purchase, cash or bank check, i would offer 35,500 out the door, the vehicle is a used truck and the depreciation needs to be removed, and the dealer will still be making a small profit. (this is me buying ) if they come back with no we cannot, see ya later and purchase the new one at a discount. do it thru the internet, dealers will normally low bit the other dealer or you can say I can get this vehicle for x amount from ( other dealers you have visited )

The use Ridgeline is over priced.
