fuel pump?/timing belt?
Hi Everyone,
2006 Ridgeline 130000 mi. I bought it with 114,000 mi timing belt replaced at that time by a reputable independent service garage. Driving about 35 mph engine quits won't restart. I did notice fuel gauge needle flutter on one occasion a few days before. I suspect fuel pump as timing belt service done within 20,000 miles, but shop where I have truck serviced regularly thinks timing belt? Thoughts????

turn on ignition to on, (no start) have a set of ears at the fuel tank fill with cap off, if you hear the fuel pump it may be working ok, disconnect fuel line to injectors, turn on ignition to on see if fuel comes out into a container.

Things look grim, garage that replaced the timing belt thinks that is the issue again. They will know more tomorrow. Since good luck seems to be out of the question. Is there a preferred source for a replacement engine?
