Default seat covers for a Honda Ridgeline
Why does it say on the seat covers that I bought for front seats for my Ridgeline say they might interfere with the air bags

welcome to the forum, do you have side restraints in the seat back? If you purchased a generic seat cover, the manufactor of the cover has this to alert you to the fact that the cover may interfere depending on where the air back or side curtain is packed.
