Audio System Issues
I purchased a used ‘21 CR-V in Dec of ‘23. I immediately started having issues with the audio system, mainly Apple CarPlay. My system would freeze, not load properly, my screen would go black and everything would stop working. I took the car in and they did a hard reset, which worked for a while. When it started acting up again the dealer put in a new unit. Again it acted up. More resets and software updates with no luck along with one more unit installed. After taking the car in while it was malfunctioning I was finally told I need to reboot the unit whenever I have problems and it’s a compatibility issue between Apple and the audio unit because it’s an Android device. I reboot this unit 4-5 times a week. Does anyone else have this problem or has anyone had this problem and been able to resolve it? It’s quite frustrating. Thanks!
