Hi all,

How do you celebrate a 1986 Accord passing 500,000 miles? Make a music video with an original song and dancing girls. Well no dancing girls but the rest is all true. Maybe have a look at the whole series called the Moon and Back Chronicles, the video journal of a Honda about to turn 500,000 mies.

Thanks for the welcome. The car is pretty stock. I did a full disclosure episode Volume 8 where I talk about blowing a radiator hose and the aftermath of that incident. Engine replaced at mile 410,000. Other than that the usual stuff, but nothing heavy duty. Tranny's original, interior great and even the pop-up lights are original and work great.

That's an awesome testament to the durability of the Honda brand. Treat 'em right and these cars will drive forever! Nice work on the video. I'm impressed.

1986 Accord DX
 

I just watched the video on the 500K Accord... I just bought a 1986 Accord but with a few less miles on it (53,000 original). I'm hoping it will take me many more miles down the road. :)
