Default Removing of fiberglass from exhaust

I have a 2010 Sabre and just recently put Vance and Hines slip ons on. I was thinking about removing the fiberglass for more sound. Questions are: 1...will it turn my pipes blue and 2.....will I need a fuel programmer after or will back pressure stay the same?
