Purchased a 1997 Goldwing GL 1500 with no issues. Road it 1 hour no issues. Next time out circled the yard to park and it died. Battery was dead. Charged battery, rode it a few times and it died again. Didn't have batter tested, but replaced with new battery. Same issue: battery died and bike stops. Tried replacing the metal fuse with a 50amp spade fuse. Same issue. Tested positive cable from battery, appears OK. Battery charged and at idle the wire from stator is 10.4 volts, 1000 rpm goes to 16 volts, at 2000 rpm goes to 18.?? volts. Same issue, when battery dies, bike dies. Planning to check ground on battery wire. What else need tested?
