Parking brake light stays on with brake OFF. Where is the switch?

 

Emergency brakes being on will turn brake light on
And, low brake fluid will also turn brake light on
Check those things first

 

viewing the parts catalog, it appears to be under the master cylinder inside of the brake handle lever.

 

Problem was caused by the rubber sleeve for the brake lever. It had come loose from the housing and bent the little metal actuator arm on the MICROSWITCH located on the lever mechanism. Fix was to reinstall the sleeve, then readjust the metal arm on the microswitch.
