I have only been able to find 3 brands of tires for this rim... Kumo ecsta, Toyo Proxes, and Dunlop SP8000's.... it had the dunlops on it when i got it and i hate them so that narrows it down to 2.. i have heard mixed on Kumo's and mostly positive on the Toyo's but i would like some more input

I have kumho solus on my 07 fit, handling is good, water handling ok. road noise at 65 can be heard as a high pitch sound like tractor trailor tires. 70k warranty, last 60k. I now have parelli, 85k warranty, quiet, handling great, water handling fantastic. Best tires I have ever purchased in a long long time.

I wish they made parelli tires for my sized rim.. i used to have a set on my old civic but for some reason i have an uncommon rim size.. so im forced to choose.. i went with the toyo's and the dry handling is AMAZING wet handling is about a B, cold handling is far better than the dunlops that i originally had. they dont make any road noise as far as i have heard yet but they are s little stiff for my taste.. i can feel every bump now more than before (granted i have my car almost slammed) but still lol

Parelli is a good tire,I had them on an RX7 once and loved the way they handled in curves and got good mileage too.

I work at a tire shop and can say, toyos are a pretty good tire. pirellis are only good if you’re buying sportier tires I’ve noticed in my experience. I have a set of kuhmos on the daily and they’re okay for the price. I would go for the toyos. I’ve only ever heard good feedback from them.

You are responding to a thread that is 14 YEARS old. Do you think the author is on his 2nd or 3rd set of tires since then or even still owns the subject vehicle? Actually, he has not logged in since 2018.
