It's time to replace tires on my 2015 CRV (225/65R 17"). The original tires are Continental Cross Contact LX. I've been generally satisfied, except noise level at highway speeds is awful. I don't know how much of that to contribute specifically to the tires. Most websites categorize these tires as All-Season SUV. This vehicle does zero off-roading or towing, with 90% highway driving and 10% around-town. I am considering going with All-Season General tires in the same size, as used on most family cars, in hopes of achieving a quieter, perhaps more comfortable ride. Good idea/bad idea? Any thoughts and experiences are appreciated. Thanks.
