Spare tire wheel
I recently purchased a used 2005 Accura Hybrid. It did not come with a donut spare tire, just the blow up kit. From the manuel it says the spare tire size for the Canadian model is T135/90D15. What does this mean I need to ask for to get a wheel that will be the right size, or are all donuts the same?

Welcome to the forum,I did a search for about an hour and gave up and called my Nephew who owns a tire co. here in town with that info and he could not find anything, his suggestion was to take that tire size and go to a junkyard and come as close to the size as possible in Temp tires. that would be what I would do.Good luck,BTW my vette has no spare either so I carry a inflation and plug kit and I have never had to use it.

I just went on E-bay and found several, one was for $55 so I'm sure you can find one in a salvage yard cheaper.:D

Bucwheat-- Thanks very much for spending time trying to help me. I actually looked at the manual and there was a picture of the wheel and tire (which only came on Canadian models). So I at least know that it has 5 lug holes, which is different than a lot of the donut wheels I found which only had 4. The tire size shows that it is 15 in in diameter and somehow I have to convert 135 into inchesfor the width.
At any rate thanks very much for the response. |
Good luck sir,it would be interesting to find a conversion chart but I looked fro quite awhile without any luck.
