What are these black things on my rims?
welcome to the forum I'd be guessing at tire pressure monitoring sys.
My Honda Service says they don't think so and don't know there for.
ng, honda does not know about their own honda rim's, ill do more research to find out. i am curious now.
they are resonators to reduce wheel noise. Dill Air Control Products.
Great to Know
The new Rim I bought does not have them
the rim that has the resonators are just a bit quieter than the new rims. might want to keep them until you know for sure you don't want them unless you traded them in already. not cheap rims.

Mr. acmech52
Thanks Had the old rim repaired ( I now have 5 rims) Which I will now install since I have damaged another one. Just noted I have been talking to two Forman's will now use the Honda Accord forum only. . . .. |
kind of curious as to how you are damaging your rims unless your state is like ca. lots of big pot holes to ruin rims. at least in ca. we can submit to the city of where the pot hole is and usually on the 2nd or 3ed request, they pay for the rim repair or replace and tire if needed. just have to have pictures, location, etc to submit.

Curbs I am not careful going around corners, rim was repaired for $80.00 as will the one I just damaged..
