Powe Door Problem 2002 Odyssey
Hi
The Driver side Power door does not close nor open in my 2002 Honda Odyssey. When I press the switch it gives a geek geek sound and the door does not close/open.
I have tried to re-set the circuit and it did not fix the issue.
any ideas on how to fix.
thanks,
Balaji.

sometimes you have to turn the switch to off and then then manually open and close the door to reset it. You should also check to see that the roller bearings are not worn. If you have much noise at all when the door opens, then those are most likely bad. Mine got so bad, the center arm started cutting into the paint. It isn't hard to replace and there are a couple of great youtube videos that show you how to do it.

On my 2003, there is a switch above the two open/close door switches that turn off the sliding doors. I often use that to prevent the kids from opening the doors. Anyway, turn that off and then manually slide the door completely open, check the tracks to make sure no foreign objects are there, and then completely close the door. Then turn the switch back on and see if the door works.

Hi IndianaJohn,
I did the steps and it did not work.
I opened the side bar and the wire attached to the motor and door is intact.
I don't want to pull the inside panel completely out If I don't have to, to fix this issue. How can I find if the motor is working?
thanks,
balaji.
