I'm having an issue I haven't been able to find any similar issues online. I have an 07 crv 2.4l 4wd. Occasionally there is a loud exhaust noise in the engine area under heavy load that keeps the car from accelerating past 60. If I stay a full open throttle it will clear and the noise will stop and the car will run normal. Since it's intermittent, difficult to diagnose. I thought it may be a cat blockage, but don't think it would clear. Car has no codes stored and no CEL. I think it may be a faulty egr, but have not seen these symptoms reported amywhere. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
