Got my carplay installed!

I got the carplay upgrade module from carputech , it is plug and play made specifically for the tlx, about $299, it is built like a copy of the more expensive units, also has support for 4 additional cameras which is good if u wanna install a 360 or blind spot camera setup
very easy to do for anyone wondering how to do it i can explain it, just don't mess with the hvac wiring or it may cause problems as i learned from experience a week ago… carplay box fits inside driver footwell behind where the parking sensor switches are.
it works like the regular infotainment, the ***** on the bottom in particular the enter one rotates so u can use that to select things, there’s other shortcuts and buttons that control it but i still don't know them i gotta fully take a look at the manual.
It's perfect now. Let's see how it goes in half a year.

Then I read this post and noticed that you posted both in the wee hours of the morning so I thought maybe alcohol/drugs were involved.

Maybe you really have a RDX and not the TLX you said twice and thought there may be some similarity with the CRV?

In either case, where are the photos?

Since we have confirmation of the Make and Model I guess I will forever wonder why you joined a Honda blog and posted in the CR-V section.

 

Just for the $20 they promised to refund me. Not only here, I need to share it on five webs related to my car model.
But currently I am quite satisfied with this product, otherwise I would definitely return it directly.
