Default 18/19 Honda CR-V

Looking to buy a 18/19 crv. Needing some honest opinions on the vehicle. Love it? Hate it?

welcome to the forum. i own a hr-v, the new crv with the 1.5 turbo engine is having fuel in oil problems in cold areas, so far 300k+ have been recalled for this problem, some in the usa have been worked on by honda changing oil and filter, no charge. but no fix at this time. if you get the crv with a different engine, no problems. you might want to look up the 19 crv to see if the problem has been resolved.

Honda has been less than forthcoming with the oil in gasoline issue. Customer service questions are not answered at all. Public statements seem to say that all CRV's are not affected, but no information on which ones, production dates, VIN's etc are given out. No issue in the summertime. My CRV provides winter heat pretty soon, less than a mile of driving. However, the temp gauge stays on the cold side for about 5 miles. I suspect that it is during this warmup period is when the problem may occur.

It is a very nice vehicle, unfortunate that there is this to date unresolved issue.
