Default 2000 CRV now 2 wheel drive - any issues??

Long time CRV owner, but new to the forum. Found lots of interesting issues and responses.

I removed my drive shaft due to steering wheel vibration at 30-70 km/hr. (Thanks to Jack Wolfman for the removal instructions provided in his July 20, 2015 thread.)
Removal was difficult due to a number of seized bolts and limited access in my driveway. Repeated applications of penetrating oil, along with gradual loosening/tightening of the bolts was essential.

Now I'm thinking. Do I really want to (or need to) spend more $$$ and 2 -3 awkward hours under the car again to install a new drive shaft.

Any one have any experience with a 2 wheel drive CRV, or see any safety or control issues with it?

Thanks, Alp.
