Default 2006 Crv 2 wd.

Used vehicle picked up for toad behind motor home.
I want to refresh transmission fluid, would changing filter be a good or bad idea?
160,000
Shifts good, no issues that I'm aware of.

Hello. I recently purchased a 2006 and a 2005 CRV July of this year . Each had 150,000 + miles. Changed the inline tranny filter on both but only after flushing the tranny fluid. Did the recommended Honda fluid and 4 flushes. No issues since the flush and the new inline tranny filter change. Inline filter should be located behind the radiator. A bit of work to get to but worth the effort. Found good videos on the tube and it made it easier. Hope this helps.

As I recall it is recommended to change transmission fluid every 30.000 miles when towing behind a motor home. I just bought a 2007 with 212.000 miles to tow behind my motor home and plan on changing filter and transmission fluid as well as a complete service of all fluids.
